  • Association of Childhood Education International -This organization promotes the development of children from birth through early adolescence, and influences the professional growth of educators.

  • Council for Exceptional Children -An international organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for students with exceptionalities, disabilities, and/or the gifted. A good place to find resources for your students.

  • Assoc for Supervision&CurriculumDevelopment -associations deal with current issues in education at all levels, publishes Educational Leadership magazine, offers conferences, resources, and an excellent electronic newsletter for educators available by email

  • National School Boards Association -The national site for school board members. Its programs, constitution, code of ethics, publications, meeting announcements and other resources aid the membership in its advocacy role.

  • American Educational Research Association -Meetings, Bulletin Board and a career job search engine are part of this research association. A helpful index including article/author/reviewer is now available.

  • U.S. Department of Education -A comprehensive education page that has numerous highlights: ERIC research, Student Aid Applications, Title IV codes, statistics, National Library of Education and others.

  • National Parent Teacher Association -The oldest and largest volunteer association of the U.S. The mission statement, officers, state PTA offices and national programs are presented. Fund raising gudidelines are available.

  • National High School Association -A national forum for high school educators to provide opportunities for professional growth and dialog. This site includes information about conferences, publications, jobs and affiliates.
